Rings

Caeli rings are made for women who have given up on rings because everything else leaves a green mark on their finger. We use 316L surgical steel as the base, the same medical grade alloy used in joint replacements and orthopedic implants. We plate it with 14K gold at 2.5 plus microns, roughly 25 to 50 times thicker than the gold layer on standard fashion plating. The base is what makes the ring safe for sensitive skin. The plating is what gives you the warm gold look. Every ring is part of a single production run of 100 pieces. When the run sells out, the design is permanently retired. Never restocked. Never recreated. The ring you buy becomes part of a closed collection. Why our rings work for sensitive skin and nickel allergies Standard fashion rings use brass or copper bases. Both contain nickel. When the thin plating wears through (which happens within weeks on most plated jewelry), the nickel underneath touches your skin and causes the reaction you have been trying to avoid. Caeli rings start with 316L surgical steel, which is widely documented in dermatology and medical device literature as a low nickel release material. The thick plating on top is engineered for years of daily wear, not weeks. Read the full breakdown on our Hypoallergenic Promise page. How to choose your ring For minimalist daily wear: the Silhouette Ring (ultra thin band) or the Quiet Curve Ring (organic wave shape). For stacking and statement: the Stillmark Ring set, bolder geometric architecture meant to wear together or solo. For everyday wear and sensitive skin: any of the rings in this collection. All use the same 316L surgical steel base and 14K gold plating. For sizing: every ring is currently size 7. Custom sizing available on request, email hello@caelijewelry.com. Materials and care Base metal: 316L surgical grade stainless steel. Hypoallergenic, tarnish proof, waterproof. Finish: 14K gold plating at 2.5 plus microns. Shower safe, sweat safe, sleep safe. Rinse with fresh water after pool or ocean exposure to preserve the gold finish. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. See our full Care Guide for details. Common questions Will my finger turn green? No. Green skin comes from copper or brass bases reacting with skin acids. 316L stainless steel does not oxidize that way. Can I sleep with a Caeli ring on? Yes. The thin profile is designed for 24 hour wear, including sleep, showers, and workouts. Are these vermeil? No. Vermeil legally requires a sterling silver base under FTC rules. Our base is stainless steel, so the correct term is 14K gold plated stainless steel. Read our FTC vermeil breakdown. What if my skin reacts? We offer an unconditional 30 day return policy. If a piece causes a reaction, email us and we make it right.
