Why 316L Surgical Steel?
The highest grade stainless steel used in medical implants. Hypoallergenic, tarnish-proof, waterproof, and completely safe for the most sensitive skin. This is the same material used in surgical instruments.

Why 14K Gold Vermeil?
True vermeil (pronounced vehr-MAY) requires a minimum 2.5 micron gold layer over sterling silver or stainless steel. Our 2.5+ micron plating is 25-50x thicker than standard fashion jewelry gold plating (which is typically 0.05-0.1 microns), ensuring lasting color, durability, and resistance to tarnishing.
