Common questions Will these earrings cause a reaction even if other surgical steel earrings did? If you have had reactions to earrings labeled surgical steel from fast fashion brands, those were probably lower grade steel that still contains higher nickel content. 316L is a specific medical grade designation. The number matters. If you have a severe metal allergy, consult your dermatologist before any new earrings. Can I sleep in Caeli earrings? Yes. The Echo Studs in particular are designed for 24 hour wear, low profile so they do not press into your scalp. Are earrings returnable? For hygiene reasons earrings are non returnable. If a pair is defective on arrival, we exchange or refund. Email us within 7 days. What if my piercing is fresh? 316L is the standard material used in body piercing studios for healing piercings. Caeli earrings are safe for healed piercings. For brand new piercings, consult your piercer.
